Mike Higgins created Simplicity Strategy & Solutions as a different kind of consulting company: one that doesn't try to over complicate things to prove its value to the client, but does provide simple solutions and plans for healthcare organizations.  

With his extensive experience in strategic business development and corporate leadership, Mike has been recognized as a top young business leader. He has served in several executive roles with OSF Healthcare System, including two separate tenures as Interim President of Children’s Hospital of Illinois; Executive Director of the OSF Healthcare Foundation; Executive Director of Research, Innovation & Education for OSF Ministry Services; and Executive Director of Business Development for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

Mike also has experience as a Chief Operating Officer for Peoria Surgical Group, Ltd.; PSG Realty, LLC; and PSG Investments, LLC, overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the corporation.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Bradley University. Recognized by InterBusiness Issues Magazine as one of the 40 Leaders Under Forty in the greater Peoria area, he is also a graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School.  Additionally, he has dedicated himself to charitable and community organizations by serving on numerous boards of directors.
